Kishore Gajendra is an audio-visual storyteller and educator based on the west coast of Norway. As the grandson of a documentary and portrait photographer who worked during the British colonial time in India, Kishore's passion for activism, visual storytelling, and human interest topics was ignited early on, deeply influenced by his grandfather and mother. His work is also inspired by the kindness he observes in people from all walks of life. Having both Indian and Norwegian backgrounds has helped him appreciate the cultures of both the East and the West.

Kishore’s early dedication to activism led to his first professional role as a photojournalist at the age of 19. Since then, he has gained experience across various media, including newspapers, television, political NGOs, and educational institutions.

Since relocating to Norway, Kishore has collaborated with individuals from around the globe on diverse projects, including documentaries, advertisements, activism, photography, and yoga. He currently lectures at the Institute for Journalism at Høgskulen i Volda and offers yoga and meditation courses in Norway.

You see, one thing is, I can live with doubt and uncertainty and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate answers and possible beliefs and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I'm not absolutely sure of anything and there are many things I don't know anything aboutt
